# Centralization

Thanks to blockchain, we are moving towards an economy of trust without the need for third-party authorities. However, crowdfunding campaigns still raise funds predominantly through centralized platforms. The so-called "creators" - developers collect donations for their projects through centralized platforms such as "GoFundMe," "Kickstarter," and "Indiegogo." These central network architectures are built around a single server infrastructure that monitors the entire processing,  storing, and social network interactions. This means that all data in a centralized network must pass through one point. Although they enable users to create projects and pledge funds to others, centralized crowdfunding platforms do not have advanced features.<br>
